The Flagler County Art League (FCAL) is issuing a call for artists in ALL media to enter our show
"A Hero's Call" opening September 11, 2010. The deadline for applications is Sept. 2. Art will be
submitted on September 7 and 8 from 2 - 4 PM. The show will run through October 6th and will
feature works spotlighting those in public service, the military and any interpretation of the
events and people who are the true heroes in our lives today. Entrance fees are $15 per piece
for members and $35 per piece for non-members, and include both 2D and 3D art.

NEW SHOW ENTRY RULES
Starting with “A Hero’s Call,” the number of entries permitted per show will increase from
two to three, and the requirement that the work must have been executed within the last
two years will be dropped. This is particularly so in reference to the Hero’s Call show, for
which works commemorating heroes, events or actions that go back to or preceding
9/11, Gulf and Vietnam Wars, etc., will be welcome. (However, work exhibited in previous
FCAL shows will not be accepted, in order to keep each show “fresh.”)
